An Horizons of Knowledge lecture by Jon Butler, professor of American studies, history and religious studies, and dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Yale University:

Butler is the editor-in chief of the forthcoming Oxford Companion to Religion in America and is currently writing a book about religion in New York City, 1870-1960, tentatively titled God in Gotham: The Miracle of Religion in Modern Manhattan.
