IU’s IT VP at the top of his class

Michael McRobbie, vice president for information technology and chief information officer, is one of Computerworld magazine’s 2004 “Premier 100 IT Leaders.”

McRobbie, who also holds a second vice presidency in research at IU, was one of six leaders chosen from the academic sector. From a pool of 598 candidates, editors and a panel of 10 former winners chose 100 individuals who “use their wit and fortitude to keep their staffs and companies headed in the right direction,” the magazine reported.
