George Turner
George Turner, principal systems programmer and administrator for University Information Technology Services, has been employed at IU for 17 years. Thanks to his efforts, the Analysis and Visualization of Instrument-Driven Data facility is changing the way science is done at IU and nationally. Turner also has been the cornerstone of the annual effort to put on the “Research in Indiana” display at the International Supercomputing Conference.

Susan Quinn
Susan Quinn, assistant dean of the School of Informatics, has worked at IU 12 years, the past three in her current position. The first full-time employee at the School of Informatics, she has had a large impact on the growth and success of the school. Quinn’s “can do” energy, say colleagues, assisted in the successful effort to secure state funding and helped create and develop the school’s publications and Web identity.
