
The East Asian Film Series includes a Feb. 26 screening of The Story of the Weeping Camel. This National Geographic World Films production chronicles the adventures of a family of camel herders in Mongolia’s Gobi region. Critics have described the film as a “window into a different way of life.”
| Organizers of IU Bloomington’s East Asian Film Series have announced the line-up for the spring semester. The Saturday evening series showcases recent releases from Japan, Korea, Mongolia and China. All screenings are free and are offered in Room 101 of Woodburn Hall at 7:30 p.m. Organizers warn the movies are not suitable for young audiences.
