Indian journalist to lecture Feb. 3
The India Studies Program and the Department of Criminal Justice will host a lecture by Praveen Swami, the award-winning special correspondent for India’s Frontline news magazine, Thursday, Feb. 3, at 6 p.m. in Woodburn Hall, Room 111, on the IU Bloomington campus.

His lecture title will be: “Covert in Kashmir: A History of Pakistani Sub-Conventional Warfare, 1947-2002.”

Swami is a recognized expert on the conflict in Jammu and Kashmir and is currently a fellow at the U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, D.C., where he is working on a project examining the history of terror in those regions.
