| Elderly and low-income residents of the South Bend area can take advantage of tax preparation help from the IU South Bend Department of Accounting. The project—Volunteer Income Tax Assistance—will be available from 8 a.m. to noon, Feb. 16 and April 13. Both sessions will be in Room 1235 of Wiekamp Hall on the IU South Bend campus. No appointment is necessary, but people requesting help with taxes will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone with an income below $30,000 are eligible for the service.
