Africana Festival




Black History Month events continue at the third annual Africana Festival. “Unity in the Spirit of Diversity” is the theme for the Saturday, Feb. 26, celebration sponsored by the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center on the Bloomington campus. The festival includes:

Children’s activities & crafts, multicultural booths, drumming workshop in the dance studio, keynote address by Jim Sims and a leadership panel. Time: 1-4:30 Location: Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center.

Soul Food dinner Time: 5-7:30 p.m. Location: Alumni Hall (Indiana Memorial Union). Tickets: $13/adults; $5/students/children/seniors (available at Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center).
