Sociologist Michael Kimmel of SUNY-Stony Brook will speak Tuesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. at the Neal Marshall Black Culture Center Grand Hall in Bloomington.
His topic will be “Mars and Venus or Planet Earth? Women and Men in a New Millennium.”
Kimmel is the author of Men Confront Pornography; Against the Tide: Pro-Feminist Men in the United States, 1776-1990; and Manhood in America: A Cultural History.
