African Village at IU Northwest Feb. 22, Feb. 24
Take a journey through the African-American experience at the African Village exhibit in IU Northwest’s Savannah Center lobby on Tuesday, Feb. 22, and Thursday, Feb. 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The public is encouraged to take a leisurely stroll through the village or stop and stay a while enjoying good conversation, music, the sharing of recipes, hair braiding, quilting, games and more. Also, this is an opportunity to learn about and see some African-American inventions on display.

The African Village is sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the Diversity Programming Group of the Center for Cultural Discovery and Learning in honor of Black History Month at IU Northwest.
