IU Cancer Center offering summer internships for high schoolers, undergrads
High school and undergraduate students planning cancer research careers have a hands-on opportunity to work with physicians and researchers at the IU Cancer Center in Indianapolis.

Application deadline is March 1 for the program, which runs June 7-Aug. 6. The IU Cancer Center Summer Research Program seeks to increase the number of cancer researchers among under-represented groups. Students are assigned mentors affiliated with the center. Participant selection is based on interest in biomedical or behavioral science, grades and personal interviews.

Information about the program and applications are available through the center’s Web site. Applicants will be notified by April 1.
