It’s Women’s History Month, and Thursday (March 8) is International Women’s Day. Did you know that in 1900, a woman’s average life expectancy was 48.3 years and by 1998, had jumped to 79.4 years? In 1900, 23 Ph.D.s were awarded to women, and in 1998 that figure had jumped to 515,000? You can read more stats at:
