• Who are the Hoosier scientists of tomorrow? IU Bloomington will be hosting teams of them, grades 6-12, on Saturday, March 20, at the Indiana Science Olympiad State Tournament. They’ll be solving a mysterious crime using forensic sciences; engineering and building towers, participating in a “robot ramble” and a “storm the castle,” with headquarters at Ballantine Hall. IU Southeast and IU Northwest were both hosts to regional events, and the state event requires staff and faculty volunteers as well as support from the local community. Winners will be off to the national event May 21-22 at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Penn.
