 The IU East Library at Hayes Hall focuses on service to students. With the recent renovation, the service desks in the library have been joined into one main area so that circulation, reserved titles, periodicals and other services can be taken care of at one central location. With the renovation, there are 20 computers stations inside the library to be used for research, several of which are situated in areas to allow project work requiring additional space or to accommodate small group work. The renovation also includes small private work rooms and a 20-seat computer classroom for instruction conducted by the library staff.
