Wendy Chang, vice chancellor of information technology, has been appointed to the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education (AACE) as a member of the Journal Editorial Board. She will review submitted content for the AACE's journal and provide her recommendation on the materials. She also has been appointed to a position on the program committee of EDUCAUSE's 2006 annual conference. She also will chair the EDUCAUSE Teaching and Learning Constituent Group, which will include monitoring the group's online discussion forum and yearly meeting.
Robert Ramsey, SPEA, made two presentations at the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences Conference held in Chicago in March. The first presentation was entitled "The Nomenclature of Convicting the Innocent;" the second, "Wrongful Convictions: Theoretical Explanations for the Differing Perceptions of Criminal Justice Actors," (co-authored with Kelly Boller and James Frank.)
