| IU Bloomington junior Sarah McCauley, a political science major from Panama City, Fla., is a recipient of the $30,000 Truman Scholarship. She is among 64 scholars chosen from nearly 600 candidates at American colleges and universities on the basis of exceptional leadership potential, intellectual ability and likelihood of “making a difference.”
“Team Vitoria” of the Kelley School of Business placed first out of 89 teams competing in the recent L’Oreal Case Competition, an international marketing simulation case competition, and ninth out of 789 teams worldwide.

For the second year in a row, 8th grader Erik Bolt of South Bend will represent the Hoosier state in the national Geographic Bee championships in Washington D.C., next month, as winner of the annual Indiana State Geographic Bee hosted by IUPUI April 5.
