Hot ticket: ‘Mamma Mia!,’ ‘Millie’ and ‘The Producers’

IU Auditorium

The IU Auditorium, on the Bloomington campus, has announced its upcoming season, complete with musicals, theater, world-renowned musicians, eclectic speakers and dancers. The 2005-2006 season includes 16 productions and 32 performances.

Doug Booher, director of the auditorium, said the new season was selected based on patron feedback and the desire to present a diversity of events at the auditorium.

“With each season, we try to bring in a variety of shows that will educate and inspire our audiences,” Booher said. “Not only are we including top Broadway productions like Mamma Mia! and The Producers, but we will have world-renowned performances by Ballet Flamenco Jose Porcel, incredible soprano Dawn Upshaw and family fun with Clifford the Big Red Dog.”
