IUB biology faculty receive teaching awards
The IU Bloomington Department of Biology recognized Jennifer Wagner, Susan Strome and Clay Fuqua for their outstanding teaching at an annual award ceremony April 30.

Wagner, a doctoral student in microbiology, received the Outstanding Associate Instructor (AI) award for her contributions to the course M360, Microbial Physiology Laboratory. The Outstanding AI award recognizes graduate students whose work strengthens the department’s teaching mission.

Strome and Fuqua were presented with the Senior Class Award for Teaching Excellence and Dedication to Undergraduates. The IUB Biology Club established the Senior Class Award in 1979 to honor exceptional departmental faculty and solicits nominations from departmental seniors each year.
