OutreachGlen Park neighborhood receives Weed and Seed designation LEGO, future city competitions open for registrations at IPFW Life sciences subject of IU East showcase Aug. 16
“Life Sciences Impact on Wayne County,” a presentation by Mary Blakefield, associate vice chancellor of academic affairs at IU East in Richmond, is slated for the next Scholar Showcase lecture Tuesday, Aug. 16. The lecture will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Uptown Innovation Center. Blakefield will discuss the importance of life sciences for the region. She will talk about DNA and bacteria insulin as well as a new partnership in the community that is being organized by the Life Sciences Task Force.
