| Subscriptions for the upcoming 2001-2002 Indiana University Opera Theater season in Bloomington are available through Aug. 31 and single ticket sales begin Sept. 7.
The 2001-2002 season promises to be an exciting one. Some of the
world’s most ccomplished young performers will be featured in six
productions: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro,
Jules Massenet's Manon, Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel
and Gretel, Mark Adamo’s Little Women, Bedrich Smetana’s
The Bartered Bride, and Gaetano Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor.

For added convenience, two productions this season will offer
Sunday matinee performances following a Saturday opening night:
Hansel and Gretel and Little Women.
An open house at the Musical Arts Center in Bloomington is scheduled Sept. 7 from 1-3 p.m. as part of a weekend of arts open houses in collaboration with the Bloomington Area Arts Council and the IU Auditorium.

Lucia di Lammermoor, April 5, 6, 12, 13
+ Indicates Sunday 3 p.m. matinee performances. All other performances take place at 8 p.m.
