Kruse drawings to be exhibited at IPFW Visual Arts Gallery

The IPFW Visual Arts Gallery will open Myths, Glyphs and Archetypes: The Drawings of Don Kruse with an opening reception from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27. The show of the IPFW professor emeritus will run through Sept. 30. Kruse not only taughtat IPFW, but attended the Fort Wayne Art School and Mexico City College

before completing a bachelor’s degree in education from Indiana University. He continued his graduate studies at Ball State University and IU from 1959-62. He has displayed his work in more than 50 one-man exhibitions and 100 group shows. He is also a professional lecturer in the areas of theosophy, Buddhism, comparative religion and Jungian and trans-personal psychology.

The Visual Arts Gallery is located in the lobby of the Visual Arts Building on the north campus of IPFW in Fort Wayne. The exhibition can be viewed daily in the gallery from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
