IU Kokomo will host its Enhancing Minority Attainment conference Thursday and Friday, Nov. 13-14 at the Kelley Center on the IU Kokomo campus.
Carlos Cortes, professor emeritus of history at the University of California, Riverside, is scheduled to make two keynote presentations. The first, on Nov. 13 at 1 p.m., is titled "The Changing Face of America: Implications for Curricular Infusion of Diversity Related Themes and Issues," and the second, on Nov. 14 at 1 p.m., is titled "How the Media Teach about Diversity?
