| In the wake of recent Asian economic crises, NAFSA: Association of International Educators has named three IU Bloomington students recipients of its prestigious assistance awards given to academically distinguished int
ernational students to continue their studies. Yonjoo Cho and William Husin are studying at the IU School of Business, and Byung-Ro Lim is a computer science student.
The largest event of its kind in the state is taking place today (Nov. 10) at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. IU’s campuses and Purdue University are jointly hosting the ninth annual Indiana Multicultural Job Fair. Although open to all coll
ege seniors and alumni, organizers promote job opportunities for historically under-represented groups in the work force, including minorities and individuals with disabilities. More than 100 regional employers are set to recruit, and potential employees
from several states are expected.
