The Law Library at the School of Law-Bloomington made the cover of a popular law school magazine: The National Jurist. Colleen Kristl Pauwels, associate professor of law and director of the law library, undoubtedly enjoyed seeing the cover art teasing readers with the headline “Why Indiana Outranks Harvard.” As the magazine’s October cover story concluded, IU Bloomington’s law library tied for first place. The article compared 183 law school libraries across the country, ranking each based on criteria such as number of volumes and ratio of professional librarians to students.
