The 2000-2001 edition of the Indiana University Fact Book has been published in “fiber” and will go “cyber” by the end of the calendar year at the Web site above. Did you know: that the eight campuses of IU had a fall semester headcount of 93,775, the third largest in IU history; that all 50 states, Washington, D.C., two U.S. territories and 150 foreign countries are represented by enrolled IU students, accounting for 17 percent of the student body; that 8 percent of the faculty are age 35 or younger and 14 percent are age 60 or older; that office areas constitute the largest combined single room-use category in the university, accounting for 29 percent of all academic-administrative space?
